What do you get when you combine a tattoo freak with a computer techie geek? Trucker Tom!!! I'm a one-time network administrator turned over-the-road truck driver. I tell you exactly what I'm thinking, and the subject of the next show is almost always a surprise. Actually I've driven a truck most of my life, though I've checked out office work a couple of times and found it sorely lacking. I despise office politics above all else, and though over-the-road trucking has its share of problems, I am able to completely eliminate workplace politics from my life. I started podcasting in December of 2004. As soon as I realized what a podcast was by listening to Adam Curry's Daily Source Code I knew immediately that it was something I HAD to do. Ihave been driven to keep it up since then. In the podcast I talk about where I am at and what I am doing, though a good portion of my podcast is about what is currently on my mind. I am driven to create content that I like to listen to, that no one else quite replicates. I relate to my listeners as my friends, and as such I try to put real substance into each episode, something to make it worth spending the time listening to.
